Hi, I’m Kendra. I have over 15 years of experience supporting children, teens, adults, and families as they navigate change, stress, and complex relationships. Much of my work focuses on family counselling by helping families adjust to shifting roles, improve communication, and reduce long-standing tension.

As families grow and change, relationships can become strained. Parents and adult children may find themselves stuck in patterns of conflict, guilt, or emotional distance, especially when independence, caregiving, or aging parents enter the picture. I support families in understanding these dynamics, setting healthier boundaries, and finding ways to stay connected while respecting one another’s needs. I also work with individuals who are carrying family stress on their own and need space to sort through their thoughts and emotions.

Alongside family work, I continue to support children and teens with anxiety, depression, academic stress, and peer challenges, and I work with parents to better understand and respond to their child’s emotional needs. Individual counselling is available across the lifespan for those seeking support with mood, stress, or life transitions.

I also have a strong interest in grief and loss. I am certified in Grief Therapy and trained to support individuals and families through end-of-life experiences, including MAiD, as well as anticipatory grief and other significant losses that impact emotional wellbeing.

My approach is collaborative and flexible, shaped around your goals and comfort level. I believe meaningful change happens within a trusting relationship, and I work at a pace that feels right for you. I invite you to reach out to explore how counselling may support you and your family in moving toward greater clarity, balance, and connection.
